WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR (COSS-19-1137-W):
Bowhead seeks a Workforce Development Coordinator for an opportunity in Panama City, FL at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD). The Workforce Development Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating employee development requirements including the academic and on-site training program, maintaining the training records, files, course evaluations and more. They will coordinate Navy automated systems training and participate in Navy automated systems Learning Solution (LS) Training and will enter data into the Navys automated systems and any knowledge of the standard Defense Department (DD) Form SF182 Authorization, Agreement and Certification of Training form is a plus. Other duties outlined below are not meant to be inclusive.
Essential functions may include:
Coordinating Video Tele-Conference (VTC) equipment for use in training and academic programs on and off-site
Preparing sponsor letters for academic programs and preparing and submitting certifying sheets to accounting after the Training Officer has approved and signed
Maintaining training records for civilian employees, entering data into the Navys systems and preparing training requests using Form SF182 Authorization, Agreement and Certification of Training and utilizing databases and systems to maintain training histories, records and schedules
Conducting registration for on and off-site classes, maintaining course roster and evaluations as well as training course and vendor files
Answering general inquiries for training records and courses; act as the POC for personnel, visitors and guests arriving for the training and conferences as well as maintaining the schedules which will include receiving and/or de-conflicting schedule requests made via e-mail, phone, in person and written instruction
Providing guidance in the creation of briefs, papers, reports, correspondence and locating, cull, reformat and assemble data required for the documents, data calls and briefs
Will coordinate and track attendance, participation in trainings and meetings, managing end user training enrollments, sending notifications and completion reminder emails, prepare classroom rosters and wait lists and status reports

Bachelors degree and at least seven (7+) years of experience is required
Prior experience with Navy automated systems, Learning Solution Training, Form SF182 is highly desired
Must be extremely organized and detail orientated and able to track multiple courses and individuals simultaneously
Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. To receive and respond to instructions/assignments, must be able to read, write and speak English
Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
