Track all statistics and performance measures of Disciplinary Officersand Hearing Officers through daily and monthly sheets. Learn disciplinarymodule of IMS and may be assigned to provide assistance at variousinstitutional disciplinary offices on a temporary basis. Remain up to date onall Department training requirements. Awareness of and adherence to laws,rules, regulations and policies (including attendance) governing all employees This is a Civil Service position. Please note that salariesfor union positions are determined according to the provisions of therespective collective bargaining agreement. The Massachusetts Department of Correction shall not hireanyone who may have direct contact with offenders, who has engaged in sexualabuse in a prison or other institution as defined in 42 U.S.C. 1997; or hasbeen convicted of engaging or attempting to engage in sexual activity in thecommunity facilitated by force, overt or implied threats of force or coercion,or if the victim did not consent or was unable to consent or refuse, or hasbeen civilly or administratively adjudicated to have engaged in the activitydescribed in the above paragraph. The agency shall consider any incidents of sexualharassment in determining whether to hire anyone who may have contact withoffenders or residents. The DOC urges bi-lingual applicants to apply. Qualifications First consideration will be given to those applicants that apply within the first 14 days. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and (A) at least three (3) years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, experience in clerical or secretarial work or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and substitutions below.
