Job Description:

The CSPO Manager is responsible for business operations across Commercial. They lead the process for all contracting, ensuring department projects are kicked off quickly and compliantly, while working cross functionally with many groups including Compliance, Finance, Legal, Purchasing and Sourcing and our external partners (vendors) to meet the needs of the Commercial organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Commercial Contracting Team by establishing and overseeing accomplishment of team goals, objectives, plans, and projects, while forecasting of volume to predict work allocation
  • Manage all external vendor contracting needs for Global, US, and Canada Commercial Teams,
  • Support Commercial advisory board execution, ensuring procedures are completed according to Compliance policies, including planning, fair market value requests, contracting, purchase order requisitions, and expense and invoice reconciliation
  • Develop, organize, and conduct 1:1 and function-specific trainings
  • Oversee all exhibit requests supporting US Sales Teams
  • Publish contracting and exhibit metrics and present to senior management and cross functional partners
  • Serve as the Global Spend Transparency operational lead for Commercial to ensure complete and accurate submission for all state, federal, and global reporting requirements, while ensuring attestation from functional VPs
  • Member of various steering committees and working groups across the company
  • Partner cross functionally with Legal, Sourcing, AP and Procurement on all Commercial needs
  • Manage the bi-annual agency review process with Sourcing
  • Oversees performance reviews and development of direct reports


  • Candidate will possess bachelor’s degree or 8 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong project management skills required; ability to manage priorities effectively and work cross-functionally
  • 2-3 years of managerial experience of direct reports/teams
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong Communication skills
  • High degree of self-motivation, and ability to work independently and under tight deadlines on multiple items
  • Customer focused mentality
  • Pharmaceutical Industry experience a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
